Before and After

See for yourself. Property styling makes all the difference.

410/8 Breese Street

The property: Brand new stylish one-bedroom apartment is in a sought-after suburb.

Challenge: Like many new apartments, the floorplan is compact and styling was critical in showcasing the lifestyle this property could offer.

Goals: Increase the perceived size of the apartment, show buyers the best use of the space and add depth that small rooms lack.

Action: The size of the furniture used was compact, but still able to cater comfortably to a couple living in this space. A glass top dining table and a console table with floating shelves rather than a solid entertainment unit were small, but important choices which increase the sense of space. A floor rug, throws, greenery and hung artwork added texture and created a sense of depth.

Result: The property achieved a private sale within the hire period.

5a/ 18 Albert Road

The Property: A spacious apartment with breathtaking views across the parklands.

Challenge: In addition to creating a stylish and inviting apartment, a main focus for this property was to soften both the appearance and sound travel which the hard finishes throughout created.

Action: Colour and texture through the use of large artwork on the walls, colourful cushions, throws and upholstered sofas and dining chairs were incorporated to add both softness and warmth to the space.

Large floor rugs also softened the space, but more so were important in softening sound and creating zones in the large open plan design.

Result: This property was sold prior to auction and the new owners fell in love with the styling so much so that they purchased a majority of the pieces with the home.

603/126 Rouse Street

The Property: The emphasis is on lifestyle for this apartment only moments to beach and bay-side cafes.

Goal: Our goal was to style this property with a strong focus on its close proximity to the water and the lifestyle that it offers.

Action: A neutral colour palette with calming blues, greys and beige were used to reflect the location and appeal to a large number of buyers.

Reference to the water and the beach were used in the artwork throughout featuring palms, rock pools and sail boats.

Result: This property successfully sold on auction day well above market expectations. The new owners purchased several of the styling pieces.

66a Mitchell Street

Action: We styled the property using modern pieces with a neutral palette to compliment the design and materials used such as, marble, timber and bold accents of black throughout. We featured black styling pieces to compliment the black accents used throughout the kitchen, framing and light fixtures.

Result: Sold on auction day and the new owners loved the styling throughout, purchasing several pieces with the home.
